- Ph.D. in theoretical nuclear physics with more than 20 years research experience in nuclear physics.
- 20 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate level.
- Well established record of grant writing and external funding.
- Creator of the CMichSM high performance code for nuclear structure calculations.
- M.S. in Computer Science, major in Parallel Processing and Advanced Networks.
- Proven professional record in software and hardware system evaluation and design for scientific high
  performance computing environments.
- Special interests: Nuclear Structure, Large Scale Shell Model Calculations, Complex Quantum Systems,
                             Genetic Algorithms, High Performance Computing solutions for scientific problems.
